Valladolid viernes a las diez horas de la mañana a veinte y seis dias del mes de/ abril de mill y quinientos y nouenta y un años. Recibio el grado de bachiller en medizina/ en esta vniuersidad Juan y fernan, yrlandes diocesis tuamensis bachiller/ artista el cual le dieron los doctores Juan de penaranda cathedratico de visperas/ de medizina padrino. y martin gonzalez de bonilla y luis de mercado de prima de/ medizina, y pedro de Segouia. y Ricardo de panaranda. Paulo de la vega. pedro de sosa/ cathedratico de medizina. pedro de soria substituto de visperas de medizina, miguel/ geronimo mexia doctores medicos desta Vniuersidad que se hallaron presentes auj/ endole examinado en el general de medizina y votado despues por aes [Aprobado] y erres [Reprobado] como/ es de costumbre le dieron el grado libre por todos como consto de sin erre AAAAAA/ AAA que metieron de que doy fe con forme a la pregmatica Real siendo testigos/ el doctor francisco garcia ximenez Rector y el doctor Juan fernandez de valdebieso y el doctor/ gonzalo yañez de ajonte collegiales. y el doctor Juan garcia coronel y el Licenciado francisco Ruiz/ y otros muchos licenciados bachilleres y studiantes, y baltasar cuello y francisco durante, bedel.

John Hiffernan
Valladolid, Friday, at ten hours in the morning, on the 26th day of the month of April of the year 1591. At this University, the degree of Bachelor in Medicine was conferred upon John Hiffernan, Irish, Diocese of Tuam, Bachelor of Arts, by Doctors Juan de Peñaranda, Professor of visperas of Medicine [for evening classes], godfather, and Martín González de Bonilla and Luis de Mercado, of Prima of Medicine [for morning classes], and Pedro de Segovia and Ricardo de Peñaranda, Pablo de la Vega, Pedro de Sosa, Professor of Medicine, Pedro de Soria, Substitute Professor of Vísperas of Medicine, Miguel Jerónimo Mejía, Doctor at this University, all being present. Having examined him in the General Room of Medicine and voted afterward by 'A's [Approved] and 'R's [Reproved], as is customary, no 'R' having been cast, but AAAAAAAAA, they all awarded him the degree for free, as was recorded, which I attest according to the Royal Pragmatic and is witnessed by Dr Francisco García Jiménez, Rector, and Dr Juan Fernández de Valdivieso and Dr Gonzalo Yáñez de Ajonte, Collegiates, and Dr Juan García Coronel, and Licenciate Francisco Ruiz, and many other Licenciates, Bachelors, and students, and Baltasar Cuello, and Francisco Dorante, Janitor.

Valladolid lunes a las tres horas de la tarde ocho dias del mes de abril de mill y/ quinientos y nouenta y seis años. conlanus tulius yrlandes natural de/ yrlanda bachiller artista para Recebir/ el grado de bachiller en medizina fue examinado en el general de medi/ cina estando presentes el doctor don baltasar de lorenzana vice Rector y/ los doctores martin gonzalez de bonilla decano y pedro de segouia. y Juan de/ panaranda y Paulo de la vega. y pedro de sosa cathedratico de uisperas/ de medicina. y pedro de soria cathedratico de medizina. y geronimo messia/ cathedratico substitutio de prima de medicina y hernando lopez y pedro de/ viana y antonio de santa cruz y octauio sanz de soria. y felipe Vaca y antonio/ de ocampo y Juan de palenzia alvarado y francisco martinez polo y francisco de he rrera y alonso de santiago y Juan fernández de la Carrera y el Licenciado Francisco/ Ruiz catedratico de zirugia. los cuales despues de auerle examinado/ en el general de medizina se subieron al claustro donde botando/ por aes. [Aprobado] y Rs. [Reprobado] le aprobaron casi todos. y metieron diez y ocho aes AAAAAA/ AAAAAAAAAAAA. y una r. y botaron se le diese el grado libre/ sin embargo como esta asentado en el libro del escrutinio El qual dicho/ grado de bachiller se le dio de balde todos derechos por ser pobre por el a/ cuerdo de un claustro hecho en 5 de abril de este año. testigos bernardo/ moriarto y el bachiller diego gonzález y el bachiller matheo de ceballos./ y otros muchos y dorantes, bedel. ... maestro de serimonias.

Conlan Tully
Valladolid, Monday, at the third hour in the afternoon, on the 8th day of the month of April of the year 1596. Conlan Tully, Irish, native of Ireland, Bachelor of Arts, was examined in Medicine toward obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Medicine, in the presence of Don Baltasar de Lorenzana, Vice Rector, and Doctors Martín González de Bonilla, Dean, and Pedro de Segovia, and Juan de Peñaranda, and Pablo de la Vega, and Pedro de Sosa, Professor of Vísperas of Medicine [for the evening classes], and Pedro de Soria, Professor of Medicine, and Jerónimo Mejía, Substitute Professor of Prima of Medicine [for the morning classes], and Hernando López, and Pedro de Viana, and Antonio de Santa Cruz, and Octavio Sanz de Soria, and Felipe Vaca, and Antonio de Ocampo, and Juan de Palencia Alvarado, and Francisco Martínez Polo, and Francisco de Herrera, and Alonso de Santiago, and Juan Fernández de la Carrera, and Licenciate Francisco Ruiz, Professor of Surgery, all of whom, after having examined him in the General Room of Medicine, went upstairs to the Cloisters, where, voting As [Approved] and Rs [Reproved], gave their approval in their majority. They cast eighteen As, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, and one R, and voted that the degree was conferred on him freely, nonetheless, as disposed in the Book of Scrutinies, which said Bachelor's degree was given, free of paying any rights, for his being poor, by agreement of the Faculty taken on the 5th of April of the current year. Witnesses: Bernardo Moriarto and Bachelor Diego González, and Bachelor Mateo de Ceballos, and many other, and Dorantes, janitor. ... , Master of Ceremonies.
