Mostró/ título signado y firmado de Juan/ de Acetuno, señor secretario de dicha Universidad de Abila./ Su fecha, dicho día, que Venía bien/ fecho y Carente de toda sospecha que/ reconozco.

Richard Merrick, Irish by nation. First Year. Bachelor of Arts by the University of Ávila on the 10th of the current month and year. He displayed a degree title bearing the rubric and signature of Juan de Acetuno, Senior Secretary of the said University of Ávila. It is dated on the said day, which was well done and devoid of any suspicion that I might appreciate.
